Samburu is situated in the semi-desert Northern frontier area of Kenya and contains many species not easily found elsewhere in the country, such as Gerenuk, Oryx, Greys Zebra and Reticulated Giraffe. (All Meals for Own Account)
Day 2: Samburu, Shaba & Buffalo Springs National Reserve
In the morning set out on a game drive in the park, a great opportunity for photographs and tracking rare wildlife. Afterwards stop off at a local Samburu Village, for a guided tour by local residents, who share very similar traits to the Masai herders. The Samburu are semi-nomadic pastoralists. Cattle, as well as sheep, goats and camels, are of utmost importance to the Samburu culture and way of life. In the afternoon set out on a game drive, crossing over to Buffalo Springs in search of its resident wildlife. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included)

In the afternoon you will savour high tea at Joy Adamson´ s famous Elsamere farm. Adamson is known for writing the book "Born free" about raising a Lion cub. Her home is now a conservation centre, focusing on lake ecology and creating environmental awareness. Afterwards you will enjoy a boat cruise on the lake and spot wildlife on the banks. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included)
Day 6: Masai Mara National Reserve
Today, you will head south-west to our next destination - the Masai Mara, famed for its sweeping plains and the annual Great Wildebeest migration, which is considered to be one of the World's greatest wildlife spectacles.
